Albert Carlotti, MD, FAACS, is the founder and medical director of BellaNova Cosmetic Surgery in West Palm Beach. Education and surgical training
Dr. Carlotti completed an AACS-accredited fellowship in cosmetic surgery of the face and body at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. His eleven years of post-college education and surgical training included medical training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, a general surgery internship and a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery — a specialty that includes surgery of the facial skeleton. He holds MD and DDS degrees and earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont.
He was certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004 and inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery the same year. He practices under his Florida medical license, and cosmetic surgery is his designated practice specialty on record with the American Medical Association.
From private practice to BellaNova
Dr. Carlotti opened his first practice in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2002 and a second in Austin, Texas in 2018. In 2025 he founded BellaNova Cosmetic Surgery in West Palm Beach, bringing consultation, surgery and recovery together in a private, state-registered Level III facility with two operating rooms, board-certified anesthesia providers and a discreet discharge area. He chose Palm Beach County for the same reason many of his patients did: it is where he wanted to live.
Outside the operating room
Dr. Carlotti is married to Jessica, a double-board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and has two daughters — a fashion designer in New York and a university student in Florida. A lifelong athlete, he trains daily and holds a world record in powerlifting; he and Jessica spend their time in the gym, traveling, on the water and spending quality time with close friends and family in South Florida.
